Terms of Service
allowd — guest access software, operated by GET ALLOWD LLC.
Last updated 16 September 2026
These terms cover two kinds of people: the clients who use allowd to invite and admit guests, and the guests who receive a pass. Using the service means accepting them.
What the service is
allowd lets a client invite guests to a game or event, send each guest a pass by email or text, add that pass to Apple or Google Wallet, and check it at the door with an ordinary phone. Tickets and admission are the venue's; allowd records who was invited, who came, and what the door decided.
For clients
- Your people. You decide who at your organisation can sign in and what they may do. Keep those accounts accurate, and tell us when someone leaves.
- Your guests. You are responsible for having the right to contact the people you invite, including their agreement to be texted, and for what your invitations say.
- Acceptable use. allowd is for inviting and admitting guests. Do not use it to send marketing, to contact people who have not agreed to hear from you, or for anything unlawful.
- Your allotment. How many passes you may issue is agreed with the organisation that holds the programme, not with us.
- Fees, where they apply, are as agreed in writing with you.
For guests
- A pass is issued to you by the organisation that invited you, and admits the number of people it says.
- Do not share or copy your pass. A pass is refused once its seats are used, and a pass presented at the wrong door or on the wrong day is refused.
- Admission is subject to the venue's own rules. The venue may refuse entry.
- Text messages are covered in our Privacy Policy. Reply STOP to stop them.
Availability
We work to keep allowd available, particularly on event days, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or improve the software over time. Where a change materially affects how clients work, we tell them.
Your information
Our handling of personal information is set out in the Privacy Policy. Guest information belongs to the client who collected it; we hold and process it to run the service.
Liability
allowd is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, GET ALLOWD LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending the service
A client may stop using allowd at any time, and we may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or its recipients at risk. On request we return or delete a client's data, unless a record must be kept.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States.
